About Four Point Project
Our Mission
The mission of The Four Points Project is to raise awareness, advocate for, and support Vietnam Veterans and Caregivers.
Our Vision
To promote the honor and dignity of Vietnam Veterans, to applaud and affirm the sacrifices those veterans and their families/caregivers have made through their service, and to ensure they are fully supported and recognized.
It is generally understood that resources for Veterans are not always easy to find. Many veterans and caregivers may not be aware of programs and organizations that can provide them with the much-needed support they deserve. Many people travel through the difficult times of illness, loss, and survival without knowing where to find those resources and having a single organization to collate access and information is needed. Additionally, the general public can often be unaware of the unique challenges Vietnam Veterans and military caregivers face. Our mission includes raising general awareness and support that will benefit the veteran and caregiver directly.
The “Four Points Project” compass consists of four primary categories of awareness split between the Vietnam Veterans themselves and the Caregivers that provide support for their needs. Two points of the compass represent the Veterans to 1) Raise awareness of the unique challenges associated with their services and 2) Honor their service and sacrifice. The two other points represent the Caregivers to 1) Support them while they are caring for their Veteran loved one and 2) the Healing needed for the caregiver and families during and after their veteran passes.
